Tasting Notes:
This California Red pours a beautiful amber with a moderate, but long-lived tan colored head. Fruity esters and toffee standout in the aroma. Faint citrus hop nose. The flavor is slightly malty with caramel notes and an immediate spice tickle. Think redwood trails through open meadows with a slight grassiness and a wisp of pine. A nicely balanced drying finish ends the hike successfully. Nice job. Good beer!
